Description

Fresh watermelon blueberry salad with fresh basil, mint, and feta and a simple lime dressing. A refreshing side for summer picnics.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound watermelon, cubed
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped, plus more for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lime zest
  • 1 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt, to taste
  • 2 ounces feta, crumbled

    Add diced watermelon and blueberries to a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle the fresh basil and mint into the bowl. Toss to mix the ingredients together.

    Pour the lime juice, lime zest, and olive oil over the fruit. Add a pinch of salt to the bowl. Toss to coat the fruit in the dressing.
