Description

A Halloween sangria recipe that tastes like a crisp, Fall apple made with orange wine, brandy, and apple cider.

Ingredients
  • 2 2 small apples, thinly sliced, plus more for garnish
  • 750 mL bottle of tart orange wine
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice
  • 6 ounces ginger beer
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • Cinnamon sticks, for garnish
Instructions
    Mix the Apple Sangria

    Add the apple slices to a large pitcher. Pour the orange wine, brandy, and apple cider or juice into the pitcher. Stir to combine the ingredients together.

    Pour the ginger beer into the pitcher and gently stir once more. Set in the refrigerator to cool for 30 minutes.

    In a shallow bowl or plate, add the brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir to combine the ingredients together and smooth into an even layer.

    In a separate shallow bowl, add water.

    Dip the rim of a glass into the bowl of water. Shake off any excess water and then dip the lip of the glass into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Add ice to the glass.
