Caesar green bean salad with creamy caesar dressing, grated parmesan cheese, and crumbled potato chips for a salty crunch.
If the green beans are in a steamable package, steam according to the package directions. If the green beans are loose, trim the ends if needed and add to a large microwave safe bowl. Add 2-3 tablespoons of water to the bowl and cover the bowl with a large plate. Microwave the green beans for 4-5 minutes, until cooked but still a bit crisp.
Remove the green beans from the microwave. Drain any remaining water from the bowl and set aside to cool slightly, about 15 minutes.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add all of the caesar dressing ingredients together. Mix until the ingredients are evenly combined. Taste, and adjust the salt and pepper level as desired.
Pour half of the caesar salad dressing over the cooled green beans. Stir to coat the green beans in the dressing. Mix in more dressing, if desired, until it’s to your liking.
Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese and crumbled potato chips into the green beans. Stir to combine the ingredients together.
Garnish with an extra sprinkle of grated parmesan and crumbled potato chips and serve immediately!
