Description

An addictive snack mix of crackers and pretzels baked with a subtly spicy, herby, zesty flavor. This recipe makes for a perfect shareable snack for game days, movie nights, or mid-afternoon snacking.

Ingredients
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce (preferably Franks Red Hot original)
  • 1 oz package of buttermilk recipe ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper, to taste
  • 2 cup cheese crackers
  • 2 cup mini pretzels
  • 2 cup butter crackers
Instructions
To make 6 cups of buffalo ranch snack mix:
  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 200°F and set out a large baking tray

  2. 2

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, hot sauce, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried dill.  Stir until the seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the butter mixture.

  3. 3

In a large bowl, add the cheese crackers, pretzel rods, and butter crackers.

  4. 4

Slowly pour the butter mixture over the crackers and toss to evenly coat the crackers with the seasoning.

  5. 5

Pour the seasoned crackers and any extra buffalo butter mixture in the bowl onto the baking tray and spread them into an even layer.

  6. 6

Bake the snack mix for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through to encourage even baking.

  7. 7

Let the snack mix cool on the tray completely and then serve. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to one week. Enjoy!
