If you follow my stories on Instagram, you know I’m a huge fan of a morning smoothie, especially a smoothie where sweet meets savory. This smoothie, more than any, is my absolute go-to. It’s jam packed with fresh, sweet, and savory flavors, has a great variety of vitamins and nutrients, and is so easy to pull together in the morning. It’s packed with vitamin C, calcium, and dietary fibers, making it a perfect way to start the day! It’s also a great option for when you’re feeling under the weather, as the jolt of vitamin C always makes you feel better quickly.

To create this bright, morning, pink smoothie, you’ll blend raspberry, mango, steamed beets, mint, ginger, lemon juice, and your preferred kind of milk into a silky smooth drink. After blended for about a minute on medium to medium-high speed until it reaches the consistency you prefer. Pour into glasses and enjoy! This recipe makes enough for two servings or one large serving, if you’re extra thirsty. This is best served right away, as it will separate if it sits out too long. If the smoothie does start to separate, stir it with a spoon or straw to bring it back together before drinking.

A smoothie that tastes as bright as it looks, this beet and raspberry drink is mixed with lemon juice, mint, and ginger to create a delicious beverage. It’s pink sunshine in a glass, great for a refreshing breakfast or afternoon snack.
Add ¾ frozen raspberries, ¾ frozen mango, 2-3 steamed baby beets, fresh mint leaves, 2 teaspoons of frozen ginger or ginger paste, juice of ½ a lemon, 1 cup of milk or milk alternative of your choice, 1 cup water to a blender.
Blend on medium to medium high until the ingredients are evenly combined and your preferred smoothie consistency is reached.
Pour the smoothie into two glasses, or one large serving glass, and enjoy.
