Frequent Recipe Questions

Can I make this recipe ahead of time?

  • A: This recipe is best served right away! The salt in the dressing will draw out the moisture of the watermelon, making the dressing too watery if made in advance. For best results, make and serve this salad within a couple hours.

Recipe Tips

When you make this watermelon blueberry salad with feta and fresh basil, here are a few tips to make sure it turns out delicious:

  • When shopping for feta, look for one that is sold in the brine. The flavor will be so much fresher and the texture will be nice and creamy.
